Dylan Banker and Breanna Ranniger are new to Farmers Markets. However, as former residents of Middletown, they know that the Middletown Farmers Market connects people to all the great local products that so many amazing farmers and producers have. They love and encourage supporting local farmers and businesses, and getting involved with the Middletown Farmers Market allows us them share our their contributions.
For the first few weeks of market their Backyard Boogie Gardens will have seedlings for you to transplant into your own gardens, microgreens (a variety of nutrient-packed flavors that are great for making salads or using for garnishes), and lots of homemade breads. That's right, Part of Backyard Boogie Gardens is Backyard Boogie Baking, which features fresh, handmade breads, and assorted baked goods! As the season continues, keep an eye out for heirloom tomatoes, peppers, herbs, beets, and other great fresh produce, as well as cookies, cakes, brownies, tortillas, and an ever changing variety of breads!
They plan to step outside of the usual country white breads and coming up with some innovative flavors. Be sure to check out their Pina Colada loaf, Lemon loaf, Herb loaf, and Thyme & Cheddar breads.
Backyard Boogie Gardens is looking forward to making new friends at the market this year, and Dylan and Breanna hope you enjoy what they have to provide.
